Today, 4-year-old twins Lillian and Isaiah Bennett are happy, healthy little kids, but their outlook on life wasn’t always so sunny. They were born nearly two months premature, spent the first four weeks of their life in the neonatal intensive care unit and were later identified as being developmentally delayed. However, thanks to Build Up Michigan, Lillian and Isaiah were able to catch up intellectually and physically with their peers and are now blossoming in their pre-K program. In this video, we hear from their parents, Courtney and Alex, about the experience, including overcoming their initial fears and how Build Up has helped their entire family thrive.
